1、 AMTI Multi directional Tilt 3D Force Measuring Treadmill

The AMTI multi-directional inclined 3D force measuring treadmill is designed specifically for evaluating running or walking on uneven surfaces. The intuitive software control interface allows the treadmill to tilt (front to back)+/-14 degrees and roll (left to right)+/-14 degrees. The main feature of the treadmill is equipped with a joint belt, which can eliminate data loss when the subject is walking and can synchronize or control the belt speed separately.


There is a six axis AMTI force measuring platform under each belt, which can record the ground reaction forces (Fx, Fy, and Fz) and moments (Mx, My, and Mz) generated by the subjects. The high-performance motor controller and included software provide users with an intuitive interface, allowing them to control the tilt and roll of the treadmill, the direction of belt travel, and belt speed up to 20 kilometers per hour.

2、 Stair type force measuring platform FP Stairs

Staircase walking is an important component of personal movement, making its research crucial for determining appropriate clinical interventions. The AMTI force platform staircase isolates the forces and moments generated during one of the four consecutive steps and transmits them to one of the two attached force platforms.


The staircase uses an innovative nested design to alternate the platforms connected to each step, so that there are no two consecutive steps transferred to the same force platform. This design isolates the forces and moments generated during each step, while capturing front and rear foot data from different platforms.


New or existing solid top force gauges can be easily made to withstand stairs connected to threaded inserts on the top surface of the platform. The standard staircase design features 23.8 "wide steps, each with 7" steps and a 10.4 "running (rest platform). AMTI can adjust the design to accommodate different spacing and lateral offset of the force measuring platform.


Usually, a complete installation requires the extension of the staircase, railings, and the landing surface in front of the staircase.


3、 AMTI force sensing series treadmill

AMTI's force sensing treadmill uses an innovative serial belt design that allows subjects to maintain a normal gait, eliminating many of the inherent issues of parallel and jointed belt treadmills.


By using the AMTI tandem treadmill, participants can walk naturally without needing to maintain their position in the middle side or cross over at the joint belt below the center of the treadmill. The heel landing occurs on the front strap, and the foot naturally turns to the back strap as the subject walks, making it easier for the toes to lift off the ground. There is only a 1mm gap between the two belts, which act as a continuous belt while preventing data issues during the double support phase of walking.


There is a six axis AMTI force measuring platform under each belt, which can record the ground reaction forces (Fx, Fy, and Fz) and moments (Mx, My, and Mz) generated by the subjects. The dynamometer is an integral part of the treadmill design, and each dynamometer fully supports its own treadmill/drive motor components. The high-performance digital motor controller and included software provide users with an intuitive interface, allowing them to control the tilt, belt direction, and belt speed of the treadmill up to 20 kilometers per hour. The extensive functionality of the tandem treadmill makes it an ideal method for studying walking and running under horizontal, uphill, and downhill conditions.

The treadmill can be installed at the top of the laboratory floor and used with a set of connected stairs (as shown in the picture), or it can be installed in a pit.
